A guide along the path of your life

"Your vision will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes." – Carl Jung

“The privilege of a lifetime is to become who you truly are.”

― C.G. Jung

Making the decision to begin therapy takes courage. Over time we will cultivate a relationship built on the foundation of mutual respect, trust and safety. You, as the client, have the opportunity to share the deepest things that are troubling you as well as anything else that is going on in your life. Using an integrative, or whole person approach to therapy, no part of you is left out. Together we explore all aspects of your life and identify trigger points that might be contributing to your suffering. By beginning to understand patterns that keep you feeling stuck in relationships with others, money, or your health, you can start to live the life you always dreamt of. Therapy is no magic pill and it does require commitment and hard work. I can promise that I will be as committed as you are to helping you achieve all of your goals so you can live your best life possible.

Your well-being is my ultimate concern. Since 2014, I have provided clients a wide range of psychological and counseling services to suit their needs. My therapy sessions are designed to strengthen your confidence, and assist you in the healing process. Using multiple modalities including but not limited to art, meditation, dream work, and body-based practices, you will develop new tools, insights and awarenesses that you can take back into your life and out into the world. Whatever has called you to explore psychotherapy with me, we will meet the challenge together. You are not alone.

How Therapy Can Help

I see depression as a block in life force. Through a warm, safe and caring environment, we discover the causes for your struggle and begin the process of restoring flow and joy to your life. Meeting you where you are at allows us to help you build a foundation for what you truly desire in your life.

Integrative approach

Having spent the past 20 years working with patients in a critical care hospital setting, I am qualified to understand what you might be facing as you undergo a new diagnosis or a chronic disease. My specific area of expertise is cardiac health working with patients while they are experiencing acute heart attacks. I understand the stress of an unexpected medical emergency and know how scary and potentially traumatizing it can be. I am here to provide a safe and knowledgeable environment for you to explore and process the feelings associated with your medical issues.

Grounded experience

If you have arrived at a time in your life when you are asking the Big Why about life, and need a guide into understanding deeper synchronistic, spiritual, or seemingly abnormal events, I am here to help. Spiritual emergencies can occur when a person embarks on a path of inner growth too quickly or unexpectedly. Sometimes, the experiences become overwhelming or chaotic creating a feeling of fear. With proper guidance, grounding, and safe containment, the chaos can be ordered and the fear can become assuaged. I can help you with this adventure.

Complex issues Simple Strategy

Teens today face a rigor of challenges unlike any other due to the presence of social media, increase school performance demands, and challenging interpersonal relationships. Adolescence is a beautiful time in personality development and a beginning of understanding and creating a individual identity in the world. After interning at a teen to teen crisis hotline, I began to understand my passion for witnessing, supporting and encouraging a healthy approach to teens inner world. Please reach out to me if you are curious to learn more.

"Owning our story and loving ourselves through that process is the bravest thing that we will ever do." Brene Brown

Having walked the walk towards living a life that feels authentic, rich, and meaningful, I understand it's not about taking a magic pill and waking up transformed overnight- obtaining our deepest desires requires courage and vulnerability. I know what it feels like to experience life knowing that there has to be more to it. I also know how that feeling can leave you asking many questions. I have come to be a therapist through my own struggles with depression and anxiety. By walking bravely through the healing process, I have a unique qualification to understand others and create a safe space for my clients to heal. I believe one of my best qualities as a therapist is my ability to bring humor and lightness to difficult and challenging topics, making the journey of therapy less scary, but still deeply transformative.

A bit about my education and training: I obtained my Bachelor's in Nursing from Augustana College in 1998. After nursing for many years, I identified the need to experience and interact with a deeper sense of healing so I started practicing yoga for myself and then began my in depth study of yoga at yogaworks, LA in 2009 where I completed 500 hours of teacher training. I continued growing with the Forrest Foundation Teacher Training in 2011. From there my desire brought me to be interested in the field of energetics and the way the mind interacts with the body and spirit to create pain and disease. Because of my insatiable desire to understand the human condition I enrolled at Pacifica Graduate Institute in 2013. In 2016, I completed my Masters in Counseling Psychology and have been practicing psychotherapy in California ever since. I utilize all of my education to help you transform and heal in whatever situation you are struggling with. I look forward to getting to know you more and hearing about your life.
